You are in dangerous situation, in this day in age, I wouldn't put your murder out of his grasp - to cash in on the insurance policy. Call up the insurance agency, have it canceled, call the cops and have him done for Forgery.

here is what I would do...

1. call father up & tell him that I didn't like what he did and hear his side of the story as to why he did it.

2. If i am not convinced with his explanation I would tell him that I am going to call the insurance company & then the police with a complaint of forgery unless he calls & cancels the insurance within a day.

2. Wait for a day & call the insurance company, to confirm whether he had cancelled it,if so well and good, if not put in a formal complaint.

3. calling the police is your option, you may or may not decide to go ahead with it , depending on what kind of relationship you want with your father in future.

Good luck, hope it works out for you

Life insurance? Who did he make the beneficiary? It should be your husband or your kids. Call the insurance agency. No one can take out life insurance on another person without their consent. Call up and get it canceled.

don't use the insurance- you could call the insurance company and cancel the policy. I probably wouldn't tell them why as it is a crime to forge a signature and it's insurance fraud if he claims anything that's untrue.

call up the insurance co.
first of all it counts how your relationship is with your father.I f it is good ,then no t a prob...if not in good terms ,call up the ins co. and tell them about the forgery and get it cancelled.

You can also go to police station and complain of the forgery.

You should speak to an attorney or contact small claims court to get advice as to the best way to proceed.
