We are legion.

As far as names go, I've always heard Satan and Lucifer.

He also has titles, such as Father of the Lie, the Devil, Temptor, Resister, Opposer, Angel of Light, Ruler of this System of Things and the Original Serpent.

AntiChrist, Advesary, Dragon, Devil, Ruler of Darkness, Man of sin, Accuser, Opposer, Beelzebud, Belial, The Wicked one, Lucifer.. i can go on and on and on...but to get to the next part of your question, he has so many names... As a way of showing people how ignorant, and unrighteous he is... same and Christ has soo many names, he goes by...

Not true. The early Church took all of the deities from pre-Christian religions and vilified them by turning them into names for Satan or putting them into hierarchies of devils.

ADDED: Beelzebub and Beelzebuth (which means Lord of Lords, not Lord of Flies as many have believed due to poor translation) come from the Baal family of deities. Bael (i.e. Baal and including Baalberith, Baalphegore, Baalial or Baal-Poer) deities all originate from the Cannanites.

Someone mentioned Apollyn and Abaddon. Apollyn is Greek/Roman (a variation of Apollo!) and Abaddon is Hebraic for "The Destroyer".

B/c the OT had lots of 'bad guys'. They were all different gods or babylonian kings that were opposed to the Judaism movement. In the NT, they were all lumped together under the title of 'Satan'.
There is a mention of the word 'satan' in Job but it was referring to an anti-human angeel. Not an anti-God deity.

Satan - which means 'opposer'
Devil - which means 'slanderer'
The Bible does not apply the name Lucifer to Satan but to the King of Babylon.
