CILANTRO, possibly culantro too...
(some know it as coriander, chinese parsley or mexican parsley)
The leaves are sooo pungent...........reminds me of industrial strength bathroom cleaner!! can't smell it, touch it, and especially eat it!!! i will pick out the smallest amounts of it from food... it is just terrible... supposedly, i ate some indian food with it in it, maybe cooking it for very long periods of time will change the attributes of it, also, i don't know about the seeds......hmmm.... raw cilantro...YUCK!!!

in my native language it's called "ampalaya" but in english it's called bitter gourd. NASTY! BITTER! no good reason to eat it. they say that it is packed with vitamin c and that if you wash it with salt water the bitterness would go away. but along with the bitter taste that washes away is the vitamin C! so why eat it after that? i can get vitamin c somewhere else! you'll know what i'm talking about once you've tried it for yourself...YUCK!!!

I love all vegetables, they give me lots of vitamins and fiber. What makes thw vegetables taste bad is just hoe it is prepaired, all vegetables could be cooked to fit anyones taste. Unless you are an absolute carnivore.

lol I don't have just one: peas, lima beans, brussel sprouts, asparagus, cauliflower...etc. I'm very picky about my veggies. The only ones i WILL eat are corn (any way), carrots (raw in dip), spinach (only uncooked & in salad form), celery (any way) & green beans (only in this one dish of my mom's).

If fennel counts, then it's fennel. I can eat anything else, but fennel gives me nausea and a headache.
