Also, I have never heard anyone pronounce the L in salmon. The dictionary does not show the L as part of the pronunciation: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/salmon

I thank Allah SWT that I do. At school and stuff I'm usually a "loner" so I use that time to reflect about all kinds of things, and sometimes it's like a conversation with Allah, you know? It's a wonderful use of time and I prefer that to being around a lot of people.:)

I have never pronounced "salmon" using a silent "l". If you use a silent "l", you would be saying "samon" or "sammon". I pronounce it "sal mon". Anyone agree?
