Well, i've always heard that 'what the devil intends for evil, God intends for good." So, perhaps the child was unplanned, and the result of bad behavior on the parents part. But God will raise up that child for good things. Think about Solomon, the son of David and Bathsheba.

I have thought about this before. I think that from a Christian view, both pre and extra marital sex is sin. God does not approve of it. But, we all know that there is only one way for a woman to become pregnant. If you are having sex, either the "right" way or the "wrong" way, there is a chance for the woman to conceive. God is not going to stop us from having sex before marriage or having sex with other people while married. I think that if the woman/girl becomes pregnant, of course God knows about it. The baby is innocent and He does have a plan and purpose for that child. He may not condone the act that produced the child, but the child is a blessing and has a huge part of God's plan. Whether the child will fulfill the plans is a whole different story. Just my opinion. Intersting quesiton.

Since it is highly unlikely that the woman spoke to God about her extra-marital sex which He would have disapproved you cannot call it God's plan but the plan of the sinful humans who had the intercourse.

Now that I answered you question that you had no real desire to know let me address you personally if you can stand truth!

I have read numerous of your posts, and I believe that you are a person with some serious emotional and personality problems that stem from insecurity about who you are. To cover your insecurity you take this outlet trying to be funny when you are probably hurting on the inside and would give anything to have a real life with people that love you and care what happens to you.

You will find some people on here who genuinely care that you find happiness, but you will become increasingly hostile to them because you are establishing an identity on here that you will feel you must maintain. The longer you allow this facade to hold you to more real it will become until reality will be obscured for you and you will not be able to distinguish between reality and the character you are creating.

If you should ever get tired of this shallow and empty pursuit, and want to talk with people who will really love and respect you there will be people here who will do all within their power to help you in any way they can.

God knows all... he knew she was going to make a mistake and knew that child would be conceived and has a plan for that child too. Unfortunately in the past "bastards" (children with illegitament fathers) where treated horribly by society. Considered second class citizens for the sins of their mothers... NOT the sin of their fathers go figure. We may not plan on something but God knows and God has a plan. We can take comfort in that. And the mother can take comfort that she can repent for her extra marital activities and come back to the Lord and he will accept her. She will have to deal with the earthly consequences of her actions (ei the child, failed marriage or what have you) but she will have the assistance of the Lord with her as she walks through it.

The baby is life and all life is part of God's plan. The pre or extra marital sex is representing our choice in the matter and may not be part of God's ideal plan for us but once we open a door we cannot simply shut it. We know God took the Israelites from Egypt we also know he made them work for it he didn't simply "poof" them out. They were made humble by their experiences. Just as the women who commit a sin against God are humbled by their experience. I became a mother in that exact scenario and if it wasn't for my baby I don't know that I would have come back to God. There is not one sin greater than another, we all fall short of the grace of God on our own. Jesus has paid our fine and all we need to do is accept it.

i must disagree that everything is in God's Plan...wait a minute i'm a Christian and i just said that- gasp. Yes, not everything is in God's Plan- there are two plans here on Earth- one that gives life to the fullest and one that steals, kills, and destroys life. If the woman has either pre- or extra marital- it is NOT part of God's Plan b/c both are a result of sin.

All things work together for the good that Love the Lord. I believe that we are not powerful enough to suprise God. It may have been an suprise to us, but to God, the bible says that He has numbered the hairs on our head. So if our hairs are numbered, I'm very sure that a unplained baby is just unplained by us.
God's Blessings

If a woman goes to bed with a man--pregnancy is possible--what is hard to understand about that. Why bring God into a situation created by lust of the flesh. Take responsibility for your decisions--don't justify your mistakes by blaming God

Please put up a different picture. They make those little cartoon 'avatars' so we don't have to look at actual people. Human offspring is just the rather un-miraculous result of sex. It does not matter if it is pre or extra marital.

unplanned, and very foolish!! on the paret of the man and woman who engaged in this act without thinking about the consequences!! the baby, however, will be loved by god, and the people who procreate it have a moral duty to either raise it right, or put it up for adoption for people who will give the child a chance!! god had nothing to do with it!! it is foolish human error that leads to unwanted preganancy!!
