i agree with cbmulti...your next step is getting into your Bible (try starting with John and Psalms or Proverbs) and going to a Bible based church to learn and be among other believers. Matthew 7 has something to say about true believers, just be careful not to think that it means that you are only saved if you do good works...it doesn't mean that at all!
here are a few resources i know of online:
www.family.org
www.biblegateway.com
www.sfpulpit.com
and, as i said in my answer to your other question...i will talk to you via email if you want to.

As well as saying the sinner's prayer, and confessing with your mouth that you are a sinner, and that you need Jesus to come into your heart, and be the Lord of your life, and your PERSONAL savior, YOU MUST REPENT, or turn away from sinning. Then, you must read the word of God, and pray daily and fervently, as this is how you develop a close, personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Hope this helped. Love in Christ, and may God be with you. D.

Your on your way. One must continue to lead their lives in a Christ like manner. Following the commandments and continued repentance of sin(stay away from sin). Salvation is an ongoing process, not a one time thing. Those who endure til the end will be saved.
"As the Bible says, I am already saved (Rom. 8:24, Eph. 2:5–8), but I’m also being saved (1 Cor. 1:8, 2 Cor. 2:15, Phil. 2:12), and I have the hope that I will be saved (Rom. 5:9–10, 1 Cor. 3:12–15). Like the apostle Paul I am working out my salvation in fear and trembling (Phil. 2:12), with hopeful confidence in the promises of Christ (Rom. 5:2, 2 Tim. 2:11–13)."

You heart has been changed but your mind still needs to be renewed by the word of God. I would also suggest that you ask Jesus to fill you with the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit as was given to the early disciples according to the second chapter of the book of Acts 2. You need power and Jesus is the one who does this divine work in the believers life. You also need to go to trumpetmin.org and click on "Could this be the mark?" and get busy for God and get this word out to everyone you come into contact for the time is at hand. God bless you and if you need futher help contact me on 360.

You will know if you are saved. It's not like a light goes off and you are saved. If you choose to follow the right path..that is, not to sin anymore or if you do UNINTENTIONALLY commit a sin, that you ask forgiveness from the Lord for it and try not to do it again. Try to live a good life. Help your fellow man/woman. When you start feeling good about being good (for lack of a better description) you are saved.
To just say you are sorry for doing something and not really meaning that you are sorry and just go out and do it all over again is not believing or trying. God knows what is in your heart, no matter what your mouth says. It's kind of hard to explain, but you will know. I will pray for you. I do hope you are really trying to be saved. You will reap many benefits from connecting with the Lord. You will see.

read Romans 10:8-11. if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord [that means that He has Lordship over you] and you believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved.....this is faith as stated in verses above.
Your life usually changes because Jesus has come into Lordship in you life. In stead of doing the things the people in the kingdom of world do, you know do the things the people in the Kingdom of Heaven do.
Of course you've already ask Jesus to come into your life, that's the doorway now come on into the Kingdom of heaven. Ask the Holy Spirit to baptise you in fullness and read your Bible [get one in modern english so you can understand it]. God will start changing your life as you LISTEN & OBEY.
God richly bless you to know Him,

True salvation can only happen once you reach the end of a faithful life or the end of this system. Even the apostles spoke of being saved as a process, not a destination.

You're off to a good start. Salvation consists of belief, confession, repentance, baptism--then obedience. You must be baptized now, and get involved in a church. It's the obedience, really following God's word and studying it, that gives you the peace you're so desperately looking for! Keep going, and God Bless You!

Yes you are. Not everyone feels this big earthquake when they become a Christian. It's not an emotion, it just is. Read your Bible (it's God's letter to you), pray (just have discussions with God. Prayer doesn't have to be proper and staunch), ask God to change you into the person that he meant for you to be. Enjoy your new found hope, peace, comfort, and friendship that Jesus promised you. Congratulations!
Edit: Noble Angel's response is that of a Pentecostal. Being baptised in the Holy Spirit means that you can speak in tongues which is a language that you speak to God and only He can understand. It's a beautiful, intimate thing between you and God and He chooses to give you that gift when you're ready for it. Youare saved because the Bible makes it clear that you are saved when you ask Jesus to come into your heart and when you repent of your sins. Read the story of Jesus being crucified. The man being crucified next to him says "jesus remember me." and Jesus says "today you will be with me in paradise." The criminal next to Jesus didn't immediately start speaking in tongues. He was saved because he turned from his ways and asked Jesus to save him.

First, i am glad to hear you accept Jesus as your personal saviour, however lets play with that word "believe" in James2:19-20 satan believes and trembles its not believing its BE-LIVING that counts, one does NOT go by what one feels, they go by a thus saith The Lord now a relationship with Christ means also "IF" you love Him [then] keep His commandments John 14:15, also God according to Act 2 the last verse Jesus added daily to The Church as such as should be saved. in 1 John 5:13 says that you may KNOW that you have eternal life, Jesus says something funny in Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Did you notice that word KNEW, it goes back to "if" you know me keep my commandments, find out more free bible lessons www.amazingfacts.org talk to me also wgr88@yahoo.com God bless
