Did you replace the rotors when you replaced the pads? What you're describing is frequently caused by warped rotors. You CAN have them machined true again, but frequently, once they are warped, they will warp again.

Most likely it is caused by warped rotors. Replace/machine the rotors as necessary. New rotors are your best bet as machining the rotors makes them thinner and more prone to warpage. It could also be a false ABS activation if your vehicle is equipped with 4 wheel ABS.

The rotors need to be turned or replaced. The vibration should calm down a bit after a few miles. The brake pads will conform to the shape of your rotors

Is it a 2wd or 4wd? If a 4wd check the cv axles. Did you turn or change the rotors when you did the bearings and pads? Does it pull to one direction? Maybe a caliper problem. Nor worries all are cheap and easy( except the cv axle). AutoZone has that stuff on the shelf.

Replace the rotors, if you have rotors on the back replace them too, if drums get them cut.

I have to admit that while I don't know, I'm having issues with my ABS light. My husband said it could be warped rotors, but I don't drive much so I haven't had it checked out yet.
