I have a 95 Hyundai Elantra, and it slips really bad, to the point I can't even drive it anymore. The problem is they don't make rebuild kits for Hyudai Elantras, so I have to by each individual part, but can anyone tell me what all I am going to need to get my transmission working right again??

stay away from used junk yard transmission I uesd two and they did not last a full 7month the other not even a full year so when my transmission went out I had my old one rebuilt at a shop for about $1200 best investment ever but if you want to rebuild your own get a transmission repair manual for your car it will tell you all the tools and parts you need

Sorry babe, you shouldn't bother spending $2000 rebuild the transmission on a car valued at under $1500. Yes, a transmission will cost you at least $2000 for a full rebuild and that sounds like what you need and want. You could try buying a used transmission and having that installed for about $1200, but no guarantee a used tranny will last very long.

You have two options for a repair, one go to the dealer they have an exchange program for transmissions,or get one from the wreckers,to replace each individual part to rebuild is cost prohibitive,(lots of duogh)

Are you rebuilding this yourself? If not let a REPUTABLE Transmission shop determine and find the parts needed for repair.

You need to buy a new car...preferably not a hyundai or kia. Rebuilding your transmission will probably cost you way more than that pos is worth. No, wait, I am sure of this. It will cost you more than it is worth. The fact that this car is still running after this long is some sort of glitch. Invest in something more reliable instead.
