So whenever my boyfriend and I make out, his chin rubs against mine (I guess its just the way our faces line up) and irrates my chin to the point where it scabs the next day. We're both in our 20s and neither of us have had this problem before! We tried kissing at different angles but its uncomfortable and doesnt work out, he shaves right before we make out but the little teeny tiny rough stubble still irrates my sensitive skin.

Is there anyway to fix this, besides wearing a bandaid on my chin?

Make sure he is using a regular razor, not an electric one because an electric one can't get as close to the skin. Have him use a new razor, good moisturizing shaving cream and maybe put moisturizer on his face after, that should work. good luck!

He might try a different type of shaving gel, some of them are designed to help soften up the stubble. Of course that is usually for the shave itself. Over time I would think your skin will become used to the abrasive nature of his chin. A lotion on your skin before making out might help also. Perhaps he could grow a goatee or a beard. Long facial hair does tend to be softer.

You should try making out in different positions. How about when he lies down, that way you can be on top and you control where you face is.
You'll be able to move your head or lift as you wish so that it doesn't come into contact with his chin.
Otherwise, try holding his face when you kiss, or kiss sideways so that your chin is out of the way

He could try an aftershave product or a men's skin conditioner after shaving so it softens his skin and stubble.
