If you know what you believe, why should it matter what the church is called. Did god not say that when more than two are gathered in his name then he is there? Find one that you are comfortable with, the name means nothing. It is more about what you believe and what you practice. The denomination is not going to damn or save your soul, what you believe and what you practice will.

That is the age old question. When the disciples were spreading the Good News (Gospel) of Jesus Christ as Lord and "The Way" to redemption and salvation there were no denominations. The Romans are primarily responsible for all that. The Christian lable was given by the Romans as a derogitory term. It was a term of ridicule. Sure I know that the book of Acts said they were first called Christians in Antioch but if you read the history on that you will it was a negative term given to them by the Romans because the hate for believers in Christ was just starting to grow. Then came the Gnostics around AD100. They brought about Mysticism to Christianity. Then the Romans created the Heirarcy of Presbeters, Bishops and Popes. As each century passed by so came changes to the Christian belief. Then Martin Luther protested. Calvin Protested. Zingwilli protested. in the 1500's and 1600's hundreds of Christians sects emerged (denominations). Everybody wanted to put their own stamp on the Christian belief. I say we go back to the original roots of the Christian faith and just do what the New Testament says to do. We should just follow Jesus and not denominations.

do you attend a church? what denomination is the church?
If you don't have a home church, then I'd encourage you to visit different ones and allow the Holy Spirit to lead you.
You can also research online what the different denominations believe. You'll find that Christians may differ over secondary matters but there are non-negotiable doctrine beliefs that we should all agree on: Jesus Christ died for our sins and was resurrected, his Virgin Birth, and that He is God.

Most major denominations have websites that you can check. Personally, after I have attended a church and like it, I interview the Pastor.
I wouldn't place alot of worry into denominations, check out churches in your area and go from there.

You know what you believe, but is what you believe in accordance with the Bible. To find out you need to study for yourself, pray, and ask questions to things you don't understand. Then finding a church is easy. If you look into a church and there is one thing that they are not following 100% in accordance with the Bible, then they are not the right church. Once you know the truths of the Bible it's easy to see the false.

Visit many different Churches.
Attend services. Look at what they believe as a Church body. An easy way to start is by looking at the main governing Church body web site. Usually something like "What we believe"

If you want to know what a church is teaching a good way to find out is to browse their library. A good church will teach God's word the Bible. Arm yourself with several good Christian Authors names before going on your seach.
