I understand if one does not agree, but why be so rude towards others beliefs?

If people admit that there is a God they must admit that there is something greater than themselves. Man has a complex that he is superior and it hurts his pride to admit that God exists. God's desire is that all men lay down pride and self efforts to see all the things which he has laid up in store for him. If we look to our world around us we see such grace, beauty and design. It took a loving mind to piece together this majestic earth and all things in it. Man's mind could never create nor maintain it so for him to admit that there is a God he must admit that he was just as all things created. Men do not wish to believe they are made to fill a purpose. But God made man to be a visible expression of himself. God is Spirit and he made man in the beginning to show a physical example of himself. We all will one day come to know God as our Heavenly Father and those of us who did not have much of an earthly example during their lifetime will be much surprised at what God has kept set aside for his creation of children. Take it as you will. But God is a loving and remembering Father that will once again be reunited with all his children.

The anger they show is reflective of themselves and nobody else. They have questions regarding their own faith and as they have no answers the frustration comes out as anger directed at someone whom they feel has that answer;

it's about power and beliefs. This can be seen clearly in Religious zelots who proclaim they actually know "God", his/her name and what "God actually believes and wishes them to do;

Pure arrogance sometimes, mostly I'd think it's ignorance in keeping open to others beliefs and being Tolerant of others.

It's ok to admit your closed minded, it's ok to admit you simply "don't know"...it's arrogant to imply or say "some people need guidence"....so, I will teach them about my religion....or else...

Don't worry about them, they will find there way eventually; it will take many lifetimes to do so as thier blinders are on and they stare straight ahead like a deer in headlights.

You may only notice it when it's offensive to your beliefs, but rude comments are made about everyone here. I'm guilty of it myself.
Don't take it too seriously.

Its too easy to be an "internet coward."

What I mean; answers.yahoo is a soap or sounding board for certain people that have never had the courage to speak their mind face to face about what is bothering them. In that respect, the subject of God is not exempt.

Are they rude and hateful or are they just stating what they think is truth? Is it right to continue letting someone be misled just so you will not offend them? We all want to be liked, but it takes a caring person to confront someone in an attempt to help them.
