True or false?

We see loads of fat people all the time and those people obviously have low self-image; they are too insecure to join workout at the gym.

Only guys and girls with big ego's hang out at the gym. They love watching themselves flex.

False:

I used to spend a fair amount of time at the gym (before I had two babies and no more time).

I was never in it for other people's opinion or to love watching myself flex. I was there because I knew it was good for me to keep fit. I see so many people become more or less disabled due to inactivity and I didn't want to be one of those people.

Once my children are in school and I have a few minutes people I fully intend to go back to the gym. Not to look good, but so that I can keep up with my children as they get older. Also to hopefully enjoy my 'golden years' without being all crippled up.

I know what you are saying though. There were always those guys with the big muscles or the women with the toned bodies who tended to hang out a lot and show off their hard earned gains, but definately not everyone

I'd have to say a very definitive false. I have been going to the gym 3 times a week for the last 10 years. I'm no Jessica Simpson. I watch the mirror when I lift to check my form. The way I look when I go to the gym (no makeup, etc) I'd really rather NOT be looking in the mirrors. While there are SOME who I'm sure love to check themselves out the entire time they're there. There are others who just like exersizing in a facility.

False. Not everyone acts like that.
I admit, I do have a small streak of narcissism, but that's only because I'm watching my form and looking for ways to improve. If I see changes to the good, I'll smile inside myself, but I don't watch myself in admiration. That's just vain.

False.
I go to the gym, and I'm not a narcissist. I hate the way I look and I go to the gym to hopefully change the way I look. By the way, lots of fat people go to the gym, too
