I'd like to see a 4-day work week and more vacation. I'd like to see an end to business dress. I'd like to see an end to blind respect for authority.

I'm 35. We don't run the world yet. We need to wait until the Boomers retire for that.

We'll take over the government and leadership of business entities eventually.

Malcolm: No clone. It has been determined through surveys that people born in similar time periods tend to have similar views. It's not an astrology thing, it's due to the fact that they all grew up with similar cultural backgrounds which influenced their views. Culture changes over time.

I personally dislike typing people according to when they were born (Baby Boomers, Generation X).....
Thinking a person will behave as per the time they were born is much like Astrology.......
Nonsense.....
NOTE: Meatbot......either you're a clone or you're failing today.....please don't make me feel disappointed today.
EDIT: According to surveys, on average each human has one breast, one testicle and half a dick.
I suggest you read Stephen Jay Gould's Full House, for a different look at surveys and polls.

I would like to see employers paying people for the amount of work they do, instead of time that is spent at the job. This would motivate us more and boost productivity like crazy.
I sit at an 8 hour a day job, just to be a crutch for my boss. I get my work done MUCH faster and more efficiently than anyone else here, but yet I am punished by having to sit here and do nothing when all work is completed.

Repeal social security.
Everyone knows that Generation X won't receive the payments they were promised and the situation is only going to be worse for Generation Y and everyone thereafter.
Stop the injustice. Parents shouldn't steal from their children.

I would like for you to see that you are lacking in wisdom, that you have been handed things from your parents, and it did you no good. I would like to see people who work hard and smart and are not lazy. Laziness produces apathy which produces being under the rule of others and not being a leader.
I would like to see creative minds come together for the good of everyone, with no self centeredness. I would like to see a country that depends on God.
I want to see order and not chaios. Why do we have shootings in our schools? Because we have gotten away from Biblical principles.

Eri,
Your comment doesn't make any sense, you say by 30 Generation X has slept through it glory years, how can this be true, if you can't even run for president until your 35.

Religion disbanded as a threat to worldwide peace.
Politicians fired. All offices held by 'lottery'. No more lifetime politicians who are in it more for money than to serve the populous.
State run electric, water and garbage. This is America, no one should go without the basic necessities of life. Flat tax for everyone. No more loopholes created by rich politicians for rich lobbyists.

Generation X was born between 1965 and 1976. We're already in power. Younger than that and you're Generation Y.
