I got my lower navel done sat. night, and was told to wash it 2-3x day w/ anti-bacterial soap, and a sea-salt soak if i wanted to. it wasn't sore or anything until yesterday, when i accidentally pulled it against something. now, it's very swelled, and slightly pus-y and VERY sore to touch. what should i do?

try the salt water soak 3-4 times a day. then apply neosporin maximun strength. you need to get the puss down first by soaking and rising with salt water !!

If the puss is still there in a day go to the doctors for a stronger cream, they could recomend that the piecing be removed until the skin heals.
the lower pieacing is the hardest to keep clean I have one that is a top pieceing. mine hurt when i worn anything that touched around the piecering. took months before it was total healed. wear everything low rise

Skip the soap and just do sea salt soaks. It's irritated right now, as long as you didn't tear it, it should calm down in a few days. Yellowish or whitish discharge is lymph, and it's totally normal. Just be carefull in the future not to snag it on anything

Oh and stop touching it!
