We all have genes that are either dominant or recessant. Adam and Eve, being human would have been the same way. Do enough Punnett squares, and you are going to have yourself a rather diverse population.
Take two purebred dogs, continually breed them. Eventually you're going to see some difference in the offspring. What are they teaching in schools these days!?

I am not going to try and interrupt what you mean by certain traits, but I think your question comes from the idea that if the Garden of Eden story is real, how could the differences in human be so pronounced in only 5000 years. Excellent question!
Myself, if you look with only a little concentration at reality, the Bible is not a document that should be read as if everything in the Book is literal or even more than historical point of view.
There are parts that certainly are literal but they are interpreted in some way that is not literal. It seems to be a fixed definition based on basic belief, and not an aid to having Faith.
If the Bible like many loud mouthed religious salesagents is just trying to pound one point of view down peoples throats, then who needs that interruption?

The Bible does not explicitly give us the origin of the different "races" or skin colors of humanity. In actuality, there is only one race - the human race. Within the human race is a great amount of diversity in skin color and other physical characteristics. Some speculate that when God confused the languages at the Tower of Babel (Genesis 11:1-9), He also instituted racial diversity. It is possible that God made genetic changes to humanity to better enable people to survive in different ecologies, such as Africans being better "equipped" genetically to survive the excessive heat in Africa. According to this view, God confused the languages, causing humanity to segregate linguistically, and then created genetic racial differences based on where each racial group would eventually settle, geographically. While possible, there is no explicit Biblical basis for this view. The races / skin color of humanity are nowhere mentioned in connection with the Tower of Babel.
After the flood, when the different languages came into existence, groups that spoke one language moved away with others of the same language. In doing so, the gene pool for a specific group shrunk dramatically as they no longer had the entire human population to mix with. Closer inbreeding took place, and in time certain features were emphasized in these different groups (ALL of which were present as a possibility in the gene code). As further inbreeding occurred through the generations, the gene pool got smaller and smaller, to the point that people of one language family all had the same or similar features, and it would be a rarity when a different feature arose.
Another explanation is that Adam and Eve possessed the genes to produce black, brown, and white offspring (and everything else in between). This would be similar to how a mixed-race couple often has children that vary greatly in color from one another. Since God obviously desired humanity to be diverse in appearance, it makes sense that God would have given Adam and Eve the ability to produce children of different skin tones. Later, the only survivors of the Flood were Noah and his wife, Noah’s three sons and their wives, eight people in all (Genesis 7:13). Perhaps Shem’s, Ham’s, or Japheth’s wives were of different races. It is possible that Noah’s wife was of a different race than Noah. Maybe all 8 of them were of mixed race, which would mean that they possessed the genetics to produce children of different races. Whatever the explanation, the most important aspect of this question is that we are all the same race, all created by the same God, all created for the same purpose.

God designed Adam and Eve's genes with a lot of variability so that there were many possible traits that could come out. As people moved away from each other and became isolated in their own groups, the physical differences became more apparent.

Hi, i study in the manuscripts:
We did NOT all come from Adam and Eve.
On the 6th day of Genesis, God created "in the flesh" all the races. On the 8th day,
God created and formed Eve (your Bible says "rib", but the manuscripts say "curve")
When Adam and Eve came on the scene,
there were already thousands of people alive. We didn't all come from Adam and Eve, not anywhere close. No, no incest.
God would have not allowed it, and didn't.

Eve was armed with large quantities of Mitochondrial DNA. God made her, Adam, and their children and so on, for many generations, capable of massive variations of DNA. Though their unions may have been thought of as incest (it was but, only physically), according to their genetics, each of them were very different. These many generations of genetic variations led to the variations of the races of men.

At the tower of babel, when the languages were mixed so were the physical traits.... strange evidence of this tower has never been found and afterwards God didn't mind the pyramids, great wall of china or skyscrapers...

Simple. It is called intermarriage between races. When one group lives in one area and keep on marrying each other they will look alike.
If you have a diverse group living in a particular area they will all look similar yet different.
Can you say gene pool?

Differences in environment, behaviors, traditions, if one looks very closely though, a lot of behaviors etc are the same. So I guess adaptation to the different areas of settlement.

We all magically seperated features racially in a few generations, and then looked mostly the same for the last few thousand years.
Back in the day people really knew how to walk long distances quickly, too. They must have known where they were going!
Creationism is neat.
