Break you plans up into little tiny baby steps. It's easier to do one thing at a time than trying to tackle the whole situation at once.
Ask others for help in carrying out these steps if you need to.
Maybe you should tone down your idea to a more realistic level so that it doesn't seem so scary. For example, if you were planning on having a huge party with 30 people at some special place, instead invite 15 to your home (where you won't have to rely reservations).
Three weeks still seems like a good amount of time to be able to plan something spectacular. Good luck!

Well this must be one heck of a party, if you have three weeks and are stressing over it.
Look if it is a little kids party, buy a cake and have the party at the park grill some hot dogs and let them have fun.
A teen party throw out some chips, pretzels, and a kicken stereo they will do the rest.
Adult party well then you need to do some planning. Back yard BarBq always works well. What is there to stress over
relax a party is suposed to be fun.

Just call some friends and have a party. Don't make a mountain out of a mole hill!
Kids will entertain themselves when there are a bunch of them!!! Order some pizza, a store bought ice cream cake, and go to a park with a frisbee!!!! Make presents optional for your guests and give you child a gift card to go shopping with. There! Done!!!

LOL when you have four boys and one on the way, you will learn not to let these things stress you out :) We usually hold off shopping until the night before the party LOL. Thats us! Dont worry it will work itself out :)

3 weeks? thats plenty of time. DONT be one of those parents that tries to out-do the other parties. KIDS wont remember 10 yrs later. All the kids want to do is "hang out" & eat cake. No matter the age.

Start planning, thats the only way you'll get out of the stress. Since you've done nothing you have to do something get the ball rolling and you'll feel better as you accomplish more.
