Absolutely. We can be the return just by our actions.

Despite the rantings of Chaz W, may I point out that Christianity is not, repeat: NOT, represented by christendom.
Christendom is actually the worst representative Christ could have,
Jesus warned:
"Broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are the ones going in through it. Whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it. Matthew 7:13,14
Based on that, Christ's true followers are not part of a large group. They are not to be found in mainstream religion.
They must be a small group, quietly going about their business.
Their business is acting Christlike.
How come Chaz W can only tear down?
What does he offer that's positive?

Luke 12:40 - Be ye therefore ready also, for the son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.
No man know the day or the time when the Son of man will arrive. This may be understood of a readiness to meet the Lord in the way of his judgement. Or of a preparation for death, and the last judgement, which lies in the righteousness of Christ imputed, and his grace imparted.
Don't look at it in a bad way, nor should you fear the coming of Christ. However, see it as an opportunity to start preparing yourself to meet him as the Bridegroom. In other words; Just have your white dress on without any spots nor wrinkles on it.
GOD Bless You!!!

No. His return is precipitated by His own time frame/readiness. Whether enough people are acting "Christlike" won't matter.

AWESOME question. In fact for the 2 points, I'll give you a nice shiny star.
However, it seems to be quite the opposite (though I'm all about trying to be like Christ, even if I weren't a Christian, Jesus is just cool.)
Yet, we don't know when Christ will come back. Even though sensationalistic fearmongering preachers tell you they do - they don't. No one knows.

You are a smartass, but that aside, the return of Christ will happen when and exactly how, it is written in Scripture. It will happen when the prophecies left still not
come to pass, have happened. It will occur when all of Gods Elect have the seven seals of God (as in Revelation) in their foreheads (meaning in their brain). It will
happen exactly 3 1/2 days after the death of the two witnesses. Nothing will happen except as it is written, exactly.

The "Return" will never come in the sense that physical/carnal man WANTS it to come! The "Return" will not be perceived by our physical senses!
For the return is spiritual AND is already At Hand!
For it was said, "Repent, for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand!"
Those that understand these words, understood the true words of Yeshua. For he said that the Kingdom of Heaven is within, and it will never return to earth in the same manner that carnal man predict, for it is already at hand!
Think about it...

It will be when the love of many will grow cold. Like millions of innocent babies being sacrificed to the god of pro-choice, children killing children in our own schools. terrorists killing innocent people. The love of many are truly growing cold.
Matthew 24: 12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Yahoo is proof the gospel is being preached to all the world.

No one knows when the Christ will return if they say they do they are lying. This will not depend on the behaviors of anyone.
