No answer.......I guess its brain is still in its tail...

This baby cannot breathe, think, feed, move.......pretty much like a COMATOSE person.......

Perhaps this baby is in the womb of a Darfur starving 13-year-old.....

Perhaps its in the womb of a wealthy 37-year-older who just got pregnant after several attempts, and ergo she's thankful and happy.......

These two settings will determine the baby's life.......this baby may come to life only to starve and die after 8 months, or it will grow to be a happy wealthy kid.

Christians say God has a plan for the baby either way......

I say, if God means for the baby to suffer and die a horrible death by starvation and disease.......where is the humane factor left? It doesn't count?

SOME GOD!!!!!

There is no reason to debate this in my opinion.

1. Abortion is a legal procedure.
2. It is a personal decision.
3. No one is forcing anyone to have an abortion.
4. No one has the right to force their opinions on me through our laws.

I don't believe in god, thus i believe that every action is a human choice...... If a person is old enough to decide to have sex they are old enough to take care of the unplanned child. There are organizations that help! The kindness of humans is often underestimated as well. The problem is with the family. The pregnant teenagers turn to abortion because they are afraid of their parents finding out. The problem lies with the family & society. There should be NO NEED for killing an unborn baby.

The child in the womb is not comatose, it is in development and lacks the ability to answer your ridiculous question.

Your scenario is completely ridiculous! That child could grow to be the next person to change the world.... the next great scientist.... the person who is the catalyst for the changes that this world needs to make some f**king progress instead of having all these morons dragging our progression through the mud & holding the human race back!

Now of course, the "rational" counter argument is "What if that child is the next hitler?"....... EVERY person has the capacity for good & evil..... Just because there is a possibility for evil that doesn't mean we should kill every child before they have the chance to be born.

Unfortunately, you appeared to have done very little research before you posted this question.

1) Your picture is not one taken from a woman's normal pregnancy. It is a picture of an embryo that implanted in the fallopian tube instead of the womb. As a 100% Pro Life person, this would be the one case where I think abortion is justified. There is NO chance of the baby surviving and the mother WILL die if it is not removed.

2) Most abortions are done at 12 weeks or shortly before then and this:
http://www.buzzardnews.com/usenet/images/news/fetus_walking203.jpg

is what the baby looks like at that point. Most women don't even know they are pregnant until they are 3 or 4 months along already.

FYI, people who are active in the pro abortion debate have not used the "its not a person" argument for years, they know that is not true. Most "professional" pro abortionists now rely on the opinon that the mother's rights supercede those of her child as their basis for supporting abortion.

If you truly believe in "Choice", then make it informed choice. Stop relying on outdated rhetoric to support your position.

That baby was in the tube. It was a tubal pregnancy. So, yes, for the sake of the mothers life, it should be removed. Babies don't survive in the tube.

But if it could be directed to the womb, that would be a miracle. Miracles happen every day.

Also, the baby should have a right (when in the womb), to be a survivor (if can be) of the womb. Many miscarriages do happen & that isn't anyones fault.

Yes, embryos have a God given right to survive the womb. We, as humans can't forsee that a baby is worthless because the mother lives in an abusive environment. Help the mother. To tell a mother that her baby isn't of any value & should be terminated is evil.

The death penalty is a land law, death for death. It is a judgment call of a murderer. The fetus never murdered anyone.

If you don't think that God values the life in the womb, please read http://www.fathersloveletter.com . Especially the verses about how God loves us in the womb (Psalms 139).

Also, to add that you may not be able to hear the littlest 'who' with your ears so you think that the littlest 'who' isn't a 'who' at all. But Horton (the elephant with the big ears) can hear the littlest 'who'. And all us who know the littlest 'who' is truly a 'who' & important too, should speak loudly for the littlest 'who' that only elephant with the big ears can hear.

You have been born without the wisdom
that God even gave a grapefruit.
The God you mock is the same God who
created you. A child who is in the womb in the United States is probably not going to
starve, and probably not die of disease ,either. No, the largest threat to
that little life is the selfishness of the mother.
Or father. Period. Selfish. I'm not ready to have a child. I have to finish college. I have to get a better job. I need a better place to live first. I have lots of stuff i wanna do before I become a parent. My mom will kill me if i come home pregnant. Lots and lots of "I's" there. Selfish.

I hear you and I agree. I'd like someone to show me where it says that a person is a person before they are born in the Bible. Fact is, there was a snowball's chance in hell of Moses getting everyone to Israel alive. In order to ensure someone other than Moses changed his mailing address, they had the population do as much populating as it could. He forbid gay sex for the same reason. It was a brilliant tactic and it worked. Though hundreds of babies died horrible deaths, enough lived to populate Israel. Don't forget, 40 years old then was like 75 today. Everyone who left Egypt was not "breeding stock" when they got to Israel 40 years later. Trouble is, there was no off switch. When the numbers became too high there was no addendum made so everyone thinks they have to keep pushing out babies. But how is it an all loving God who wants a mother and her child to starve to death? Doesn't work. It's not God. God is just watching. It's people. Soilent Green is made from people ;-)

I sense some sort of anger and/or resentment. Using a tubal pregnancy as an example for your pros and cons to abortion is a bad choice.

Tubal pregnancy cannot progress, therefore a decision to abort would be moot. Either the body will reabsorb the pregnant tissue, after administering proper medication, it will rupture the fallopian tube, or it will have to be surgically removed before the tube is ruptured.

Try another way to stage your argument.

The old bum on the street can't feed himself because of his handicap. The elderly can't afford healthcare. The retarded don't have enough sense to hold a job. The single parent of 9 young children can't afford to feed and clothe her children.
You see it everywhere everyday. It is called reality. So what do we do? Kill 'em all and let God sort 'em out?
How about a brand new concept? Let's have a good dose of compassion. In stead of thinking of ourselves we might try thinking of others instead. I think I'll start with me.

The Christian/Republican view seems to be that life is precious until it leaves the womb. How else can you explain a platform that's simultaneously anti-abortion and pro-death penalty?

He is some God..
He is the Great God of Mercy that doesn't strike us down when we offend him. He is the God that made a way for us to enter into his kingdom when we don't deserve it. He is the creator of all things and has mercy on millions that hate him.. Yes he is some God..
Psalm 13:5 But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
Psalm 59:16 But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.

HE had mercy on me and I help those in need and that can't buy food or medicine. If that baby was where I am then I would help to feed it..
