she has been rubbing her eyes, they have been kinda runny, she gets a runny nose outside, she coughs here and there, she digs in her ears allot!, she has been kinda cranky and kinda groggy/a little off compared to usual,, does this sound like allergies?

It's possible she has allergies. Especially if you or her dad or any siblings have them as well or you live in an area that has a high allergy concentration - like the Hudson Valley, NY.

I think you can try Benadryl - ask your pharmacist for the proper dose because it's dosed by weight. Be aware though, it might make her REALLY sleepy or REALLY hyper. (Each child is different, but's one extreme or the other.)

Allergy testing is VERY unpleasant (I had it done25 years ago and still remember it like yesterday) and most doctors won't do it on an infant unless it's a food allergy which could be fatal.

Most news reports have the pollen listing in the morning - try to keep track of her symptoms if, for example tree pollen is high and she's miserable, but grass pollen is high and she's okay. Then try to avoid going out on those days where the tree pollen is high.

Good luck!

it could be allergies but she seems really young. Sounds like she may have an ear infection or upper respiratory infection. Get her to a doc and have her checked out. If she starts running a high fever take her to the Emergency room.
