recently this Question was asked and in my anger for this person i used slander and was not able to give him a proper answer.... I wanted to apologize greatly for doing so and I am unable to... of course i can begin by not answering the question if in fact i cannot hold my judgement toward themmm..... But it is one difficult answer to give and assure some one........ the question was this
GOD'S PLAN FOR VA.TECH? Who would like to explain for God, in his absence?
Gods ways are indeed mysterious ... so mysterious you could swear that he didn't exist at all.

God gives life. God gives blessings. God is everything that is pure and righteous. When things go bad, people always say "Why God?" "Why me?" "What have I done to deserve this hardship or heartaches?" I don't know why we always tend to go to God for bad things that happen. I do that too. Now I realize we should focus that evil exists with Satan and not God. I feel our best protection against Satan is every morning we have to go to God first and seek Him. Ask for God's protection and guidance throughout our day. Take a few seconds out of our day and pray "Thank you Father, I am doing well today and I feel your presence upon and around me. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayers. Thank you for keeping evil away from me and my loved ones. In the name of my Lord and your son I pray Amen.

That is a good question. There are so many problems in the world and it is easy to wonder why God allows bad things to happen. To say I have the answer would be arogant of me. I really don't know why the world would treat somebody so negativelly that they want to kill everybody around them, like the guy did at Virginia Tech. I don't know why people can't be more compasionate towards others so they don't get depressent and conjure up homisidle ideals. I don't know why people are more concerned with material possessions and social status and things that benifit their own selfish needs and desires. I don't know why people do not show more concern and love and charity towards others.
You see the question to me is not why did God allow this. It is why do we as society allow these things?

God's plan for va tech? since it is God's plan, I havent any idea since i am no where near virginia
God wasnt absent... sometimes we are victims of other people's sin... yet God gives us all the choice to accept or reject Him... and if we havent made that choice when our time to die comes.... why is that God's 'fault'....just like God doesnt force us to choose Him, he won't step in to rescue us every time we make a false step....
how many lives will be touched in a positive way thru this? how many schools will be more responsive to ensure that this doesnt happen again somewhere? how many people on organ donation waiting lists were able to have a new lease on life? we could speculate and go on for days about 'why' this happened... why it was allowed... why didnt God just strike this guy down with a bolt of lightning before he went balistic... but then people would say God was a horrible controling God....

God does have His plan for us, but during this flesh age of men, God allows things to happen. For this "moment" of flesh man, it is satan who roams this earth causing pain, not God. God does promise us that He will never leave us or forsake us but it goes both ways. How many have left Him out of the equation of life? How many more times will this country try to null and void God and then cry out when a tragedy comes , "Where is He?". Maybe if this country would KEEP their heads covered by Christ Jesus, satan would have a harder time doing his evil.

First of all I would ask if they are acknowledging that there is a God and take it from there.
Second of all I would ask why is it they blame God then I would give them an answer.
Weather or not it was Gods plan it is bringing that school together in prayer and now many are searching for God.

Why even think God had a plan for that?
What makes you think He was involved in any way?
Is it possible that 1 John 5:19 holds the answer?
"the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one."

God does not require puny little ol' man to defend him and it is not the purpose of the ministry to get involved in such activity. Since God's ultimate plan is impossible for us to even conceive, such a question really has no answer.

God allowed it to happened. I hardly thinking it's His perfect will for VA. Tech, but it was his permissive will. He will not take away our self-control.
In some way God was there. Did you read about the teacher standing in the door and protecting his students. That was very reminencent of God if you ask me.

I can't speak for God. I don't think anyone can speak for God. I can give my opinion. If you take God out of our schools it will leave a vacuum. Satan will have no problem filling that void. Our schools and our government don't want God in our schools or our government.
God don't have to explain Himself. The government and schools have already done that.

well First of all the US in general has kicked God out of schools and they don't want the Bible taught there. Ten commandments off of the walls and no mention of God..
That sure could explain his absence as he has been asked to leave.
Secondly this world is full of sin and problems for what we humans are doing without God and these things happen more and more as we reject God. So the bottom line is that one needs to be ready to die before we are free to live. We are all going to die and the date is the only unknown. These people died young and in a violent way, but if they were saved then they are OK and will just continue on with their eternal life.
Don't worry about God and his existance, he is very capable and takes care of himself. He has given us a free will and all the people that want to know him will have ample opportunity to do so..
This in no way shakes my faith, but builds it in knowing that we are in the end or time and it is all falling in place. God will take care of the good people, it is called the rapture of the church.
