It is not burnt. We hard stronger blend than a lot of other coffee companies. Starbucks does not use an electric heater to keep their coffee warm, that burns it. Instead, we only use insolated coffee urns. If you think the coffe is too strong ask for a more mild blend such as House blend or Breakfast Blend, also try asking for a bit of hot water in it instead of filling full with just coffee. THe water will weaken the coffee but it still taste fine. Many people adjust the coffee strength by adding water in addition to cream and sugar. I hope I was some help for you. Don't give up we have a drink for everyone. Also, if you still find that the coffee is too strong, try and Americano. It is about the same price, but it is a lot smoother than the coffee. An Americano is shots of espresso and hot water. It is delicious. Good luck!

There is a huge difference between burnt coffee and strong coffee. I like my coffee strong but I won't touch it if it's been sitting on the heat for too long. I don't understand why people spend so much money on coffee at these places when you can make it at home exactly the way you like it for a fraction of the cost. I guess people are just lazy.

Properly prepared, strong. No one intends to burn coffee. Burned coffee results from being left on the burner too long. Strong coffee is a function of the type of coffee and how much you're using vs the water.

It's just stong. For it to be burnt it would have to have been sitting on a heating element for quite a while and Starbucks brews theirs directly into thermal carafes so there isn't any further heating after it's brewed. Also they use a much larger ratio of coffee to water than what is normally recommended. I always have them add a little hot water to mine just to make it taste normal.

Burnt which is why I don't drink it. If you want to taste the difference go to a Vietnamese restaurant and order a Vietnamese coffee. You will find that it is very strong but not burnt.

Not all starbucks coffee is that way. Thats just the blend of many of them. I'm not a fan of Starbucks. I loved Coffee People until Starbucks, or as I like to call them TARBUCKS bought them out.....tear..

Could just be a French Roast, which tends to have that "burnt" taste. For that reason, I don't really care for French Roast, especially since I drink my coffee black.

It is very strong coffee because it is expresso. The regular coffee is strong too. Regardlessm, what makes it strong is the concentration. Its like when you make coffee yourself, the more coffee and less water......the stronger the coffee.
