I am sitting next to an insurance agent (he owns the compnay). He says the laws very byu state. Simply contact an insurance agent in your area anask them. There could be a sur charge or exclusion for for the medical condition. Again contact an agent in your area to be sure of details.

Be safe...take care

While I was driving, there was never any extra charge. My insurance rates depended purely on how safe a driver I was, not my medical condition. Here in Indiana, though, there is a BMV requirement that you have to be seizure-free for one year to drive. I stopped driving after I had a seizure and had an accident in downtown Indianapolis. Luckily, no one was seriously injured, but the policeman that entered the room at the hospital stated, "I'm in charge of fatalities." I vowed right then and there that I'd never take a chance that he'd come in and say that for a reason.
