I think I'd prefer Dr. Pepper over Mr. Pibb.
Dr. Pepper is the original and is still available. Mr. Pibb is an imitation product from the Coca-Cola Company and has been discontinued. Any Mr. Pibb you find is at least a couple of years old and expired. Mr. Pibb has been replaced by Pibb Xtra.

Dr. Pepper...Mr. Pibb sucks. It's Coke's idea of what Dr. Pepper would taste like if he didn't bother to go to medical school.

I used to like Mr. Pibb better, but my tastes have gone back toward liking Dr. Pepper better.
If need be, I'd drink either one.
