Actually the Jews rejected Jesus and killed him there for God look for his people from among all persons
when the Jewish nation rejected the Messiah, Jehovah cast them off. (Matthew 15:3-9; 21:42, 43; Luke 12:32; John 1:10, 11) At Pentecost 33 C.E., he chose in their stead the true Israel of God, the Christian congregation. Its members are the spiritual Jews with the real circumcision of the heart. (Acts 2:1-4, 41, 42; Romans 2:28, 29; Galatians 6:16) Thereafter, the only way that individual fleshly Jews could come back to a favored relationship with Jehovah would be by putting their faith in Jesus as the Messiah. (Matthew 23:37-39

Jesus was from a Jewish family while here on earth. He was crucified for ALL PEOPLE'S sin, was dead and buried, and since He was also God in the flesh, He was resurrected and ascended back to Heaven and is now sitting at the "right hand of the Father" (Jehovah God-the ONLY true God) making intercession for those who accept His sacrifice and the eternal life that He alone gives. His name is Jesus CHRIST, hence the name CHRISTian. Jews can also be saved and then they will be Christian also. Christianity is not just another religion. It is the fullfillment of prophecy and God's promise of a Messiah. Otherwise, we would all be thrown into the lake of fire to burn forever with Satan. You may believe and you may not; all I know is, I'm glad I'm saved. The Lord has been so wonderful to me. And even if I wasn't sure, I would rather be saved and be wrong than to not be saved and be wrong. HMMM. Maybe you should consult God on this.

I don't feel like being a Christian automatically makes me an anti-semite. Actually being a Christian gives me a tremendous respect for jews. Because you are God's chosen people. You can not find any justification in the Bible for hating Jews. On the contrary, Paul tells us not to consider ourselves as better than Jews because they are the original branch that we were grafted into.
"The greatest friend Israel has is not Liberal Jews, but rather Conservative Christians"

I hope that when we get a woman president, she will be a good one. Not the wife of the President who passively allowed 911 to be carried out.

Jesus is (not just was, but remains) 100% Jewish, and is Israel's G-d incarnate in the flesh--the true G-d that some Christians and some Jews also worship.
Unfortunately a lot of Jews (of Judaism particularly who hate Jesus) and nonJews (who hate Jews) reject this.

Read John 4:21 it says, "Jesus said to her, "Woman, believe me the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor n Jerusalem, worship the Father. "You worship what you do not know; we know hwat we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. "But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father seeketh such to worship Him". Jesus was having a conversation with a Samaritan woman who was considered unclean to Jews living in Jerusalem. The Lord goes on to say that salvation comes from out the lineage of the Jews, but will eventually go everywhere. And it will not be based on one's heritage, race, or ethnicity, but on the fact whether you worship God in truth and spirit.

Jesus wasn't sent here to create a new religion, He was sent here to save us. He told his followers that only through Him could one come to the Father. He did away with all the rules and laws of the Torah. And besides, all the early Christians were Jewish.

Oh, Hillary will win, you'll see.
As for your question, a new religion was started based on Jesus' teachings. It's just another brand of the same old happy horsesh*t.
