1) You're credit rating will plummet.
2) Nobody will ever lend you money again (not for seven or eight years anyway).
3) Collection agents will hound you, your friends, and your family to the ends of the earth trying to reclaim their lost $.

Pay The Bill... you'll thank yourself later!

heheh. They throw you in their chambers and beat you to death... Just kidding.

This is what will happen...they will either take a write off or they will forward the account to a collection agency who will make a few calls and send you a few letters and if you dont pay them they will have you served and if you dont file an answer to the lawsuit they will get default judgment. If you do file an answer you will end up having to go to trial and paying money to have an attorney represent you and they will still get judgment.

Once the have their judgment...if you have a job they will garnish your wages, if you have a bank account they will do a bank levy, if you have property they will file liens and if you have assets...they will attach to them.

If you dont have any of those...they will file whats called an abstract judgment which means it will be on your credit and good for 10 years and they will renew it every ten years and enforce their judgment till they get their money. In some states they can renew the abstract up to only 20 years and in others like California...they can renew it as much as they want.

NO. you will not get anymore credit here. If you go to another country and they might slip up and give you a credit card but that probably wont last long....

The creditor who has a judgment might find you and than what they will do is hire counsel in your location...counsel will do whats called "domesticating" the judgment and that is when the court in that area approves the judgment to be enforced in their state, country...than they will try and get their money from you there and try and report it on your credit report their and the creditors will not give you anymore credit again.

But thats rare...in most cases if you move out of the country they wont come after you. The chances are that about 6 out of 10 people get found. Some Agencies like the one I work for have international collectors all over the place.

Besides...who would want to leave America for any other country???

Good Luck

You'll get sent to collections, have to pay even more, and it will hurt your credit score.
