My phone was working fine this morning (about 4 hrs ago). I just picked it up to place a call and there is no dial tone! I have my phone, internet and cable through the same provider and the other 2 services are fine. I've tried my cordless and landline phones and neither works. Any thoughts?

check on the back of the computer modem and make sure the phone cord is plugged into the modem thats where you get your dial tone from is that modem next to your computer you can also plug a phone directly into the back of the modem to check for dial tone if no tone unplug modem power cord and plug it back in this will reset the modem wait 5 min and test again hope this helps

You either didn't pay your bill, or there is a real problem that will require a repairman to come out and fix.
Call your provider's customer service phone number, and find out what's up!
