Is there unconfessed sin in your life?

Isaiah 59
Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened,
That it cannot save;
Nor His ear heavy,
That it cannot hear.
But your iniquities have separated you from your God;
And your sins have hidden His face from you,
So that He will not hear.

It would be best to start there. Are you compromising? Are you, for example, participating in a sinful lifestyle and excusing it? That is the quickest way to lose your connection.

If the above is not the issue (and you are sure) then ask yourself why you are frustrated by God's silence? In many ways, God does this so that we would just trust Him as we walk. This is God taking you off the "milk" and on to the "meat" of walking by faith.

Do you have a daily quiet time while your read His Word? Spend some quiet time with Him and just trust. Spend this time in just praising Him--asking for nothing. You will be surprised at how quickly things will turn around.

Great honest question. I think every Christian has been there sometime.
Here's the deal. One thing about God is that He is not a coke machine where we can put in a certain amount of money and know exactly what we're going to get in exchange. For example if you need more money, you can't cry and pray hard and believe that God is obligated to answer you b/c you prayed a certain way. That is a form of manipulation and God will not be manipulated in any way.
So we can ask God to show us things and He might, but it will be in the manner, time, and information that He wants to share. He will not be manipulated by man.

Secondly, when we are new Christians there is often a time where we pray and God answers many things things we ask for pretty quickly. But, as we grow God does answer prayers, but in different ways and our life requires more faith. God whispers more and we are forced to grow to have to listen harder and look harder for him.

I'm trying to figure out how best to help you....I know that sometimes God seems very far away. But he still loves and cares for you.

Have you considered that sometimes God has 3 methods of answering: yes, no and not yet? Could it be that God wants you to learn something in this journey?

Also, what about your walk with God. Is there anything that is coming between you and God? If so, ask God to reveal what it is.

St. John of the Cross spoke of the Dark Night of the Soul. People go through that. It takes a lot more faith to hold on when you go through the dark night than to have faith when everything is going great and you are on a wonderful high with God.
Hold firm. God is still with you. God still loves you.

There are certain criteria you must follow to receive answers, and you must remember he doesn't always say yes.
Sometimes we pray improperly and he won't answer if the prayer is not within his will.
A bit like you talking to a judge on the courtyard grounds, and then facing him in his courtroom.
A much better understanding can be found with some research on this site.
Keep it in favorites, there's and on line bible in there too.

I don't have a simple answer for you. I recommend you spend more time in the Word.
The Bible says faith comes by a hearing and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17)

Scheneb is right. God will never forsake you. You may have left Him. This has happened to me before-some call it living in the valley. In time God shows us that it was our disobedience that led us from Him, and not his departure.

God answers ALL requests. Without fail. What you must realize and learn to accept is that most of the time His answer will be no.

i think whats going on wrong is that you expect him to do everything, but thats just not the way it works.
you have to put your part into it, you have to give something up or do something genorous in order for your respond to happen
