Both have answers, not all are right for either...the one fact remains, however, and that is that science is ever diligent looking for the truths of matters, whereas, Most religions, esp. Catholicism, thinks they already have them, & negates any new evidence that don't...Spiritualism is more in line with science, and that's what makes them much different from being religious.

No, it really doesn't matter in the sense that either way, you are provided choices to make on your own about it all...what rings true to you? Soooo, you take what gets YOUR soul chimes singin' and you simply leave the rest....See???

Catholicism does not claim to have all the answers.

We actually revel in the mysteries of God, what He (or She) has revealed, and what He has not revealed.

The word "mystery" is used in the Catechism of the Catholic Church over 200 times. http://www.vatican.va/archive/ENG0015/3V.HTM

Pope Benedict XVI's statement parallels that of Pope John Paul II to the participants in the Vatican conference on Cosmology on Saturday, 6 July 1985 posted on the Vatican's website: http://www.vatican.va/holy_father/john_paul_ii/speeches/1985/july/documents/hf_jp-ii_spe_19850706_conferenza-cosmologia_en.html

Pope John Paul II said that he believed that science could not discover everything. That "certain aspects of our lives rise above and move beyond the material dimension and, while having deep roots in the material, surpass the understanding which the natural sciences are capable of providing."

With love in Christ.

I find it funny how the current Pope is basically destroying ever good thing John-Paul II did.

He is increasing the divide between those who are Catholic and those who are not.

And more division between the people of the world is something we don't need.
