I'm looking for the name of the vegetable that has an appearence in shape to that of an ear of corn. It is dark purple/red. The leaves are almost the texture of corn husk. The leaves come off in layers, and it has kind of a small stalk growing between the leaves. Any info would help, Thank you!

but umm if you're not sure of what it is...i wouldn't be eating it*, perhaps you could try searching on the internet for vegetables and see if you can see a pic of it to let you know what it is, where it comes from, how to cook /eat it...etc*

GoodLuck*

Your description doesn't bring anything to mind, perhaps next time you shop you could just ask someone in the vegetable section of your grocery store....now I'm curious to know what it is!
