suchi says,
"they may have anger towards the people who are so ignorant that they believe into God with all their heart"
Jesus says,
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” This is the first and greatest commandment’” (Matthew 22:37-38)."

You're certainly entitled to your opinion.....but I'll go with that of Jesesus.

you are exactly right. how can you hate what does not exist. i am sure all you anti-god replies will be hateful. it is the way they explain away GOD, with hate.

You can hate God and know he exists. That is a very dangerous path to take. I have been angry with God, and I am a Christian. He understands that. If we ask for forgiveness he will forgive anything. When my mother had such a bad accident and she had Alzheimers, I questioned why a good Christian woman had to go through that and I was angry, but I didn't hate God and I knew in the end that my mom was better off when she went to be with HIM.

False, I hate the definition but it's easier to sum up the word 'God' than saying 'the Christian definition of a singular masculine deity'.
If 'God' made everything, then why does everything reflect masculine and feminine energies and reproduction but the afore-mentioned description is completely different?
What is this non-sense about 'knowing God'?

Atheists don't hate God. Atheists don't believe that a god of any kind exists. That is a far cry from hating God. It seems illogical that anybody would hate something they don't believe in. That kind of defeats the purpose.

atheists dont believe that God exists so they probably dont think God made everything and everything. i dont think they have feelings towards GOD. So they dont hate him. But they may have anger towards the people who are so ignorant that they believe into God with all their heart no matter how screwed the world. the hate atheists have is against people like that. i dont know if i could answered your question but these are my thoughts.

well it's said, that many of those who come denounced shall but fall upon thy name, yet hear it be i over ears with the sound of all.

it means even someone like me who is a taoist can believe in god, but follwo a different path of life.

and since that act is not fully complete to make the snese it tried, we can never fully accept the true judgement of ones thoughts or choice toward god

You can't hate what you don't believe in. Some atheists might hate Christianity, not God. They don't believe in God. Why is that so hard to understand?

2007-04-18 12:10:40 · answer #7 · answered by Robin W 7 · 2 0

First premise is way off. It's easy to think something exists AND hate it. Paris Hilton for example.

Do you think ancient greeks LIKED Zeus?

2007-04-18 12:08:02 · answer #8 · answered by Laptop Jesus 3.9 7 · 1 0

Pretzel logic.

Your first assumption is wrong, I don't "hate" god. god doesn't exist. I don't hate fictional characters.

The rest of your statements then fall apart, although they didn't make a lot of sense to begin with.

You clearly have no idea of what an atheist actually is.

You should look up the definition of strawman.
