I am scared to the point that I don't let them do anything. They need to draw blood to see how my kidneys are doing since I have high blood pressure.
Any suggestions or help is really appreciated.

Well, I have patients who are like you. Some of them want to be knocked off when they have a procedure done like venous catheter insertion. but sedating you for a venipuncture is just insane. Try applying an anaesthetic cream to your arm. You can ask this from the doctor. this will help with the pain and you will not feel the needle going through your vein. Don't try to look into the needle when they do the procedure. Try to look away. Take another person with you, a gf, wife or friend so they can hold your hand while you are being butchered, oh sorry, rather when they are taking bloods.

Really, its not painfull at all... its like a sting or a bite from an ant just dont look at it and let them do their thing...

Well, I think that there is an accupuncture treatment that will knock this right out of your life.
