Someone will only roll out the contradictory verse that says something like 'All good is done in god's name', which if I remember correctly was one of Paul's hedgings.
And yes, it would disprove the bible. It clearly states in Revelation that the bible is all true or all false.
Note the distinction 'does good' - this is not the same as 'is good'. Does good means that you could be almost entirely evil and do one good act. This happens all the time. It still counts, and still disproves the bible.

So you infer is that athiests are fools. Wrong. They just don't believe in God, Heaven or Hell.
And no, an athiest doing good does not disprove the Bible. We are all capable of doing good things. Religious beliefs or non beliefs have nothing to do with it. It's all in the heart.

Just because someone doesn't believe in a particular religion or any religion at all (athiest) doesn't make them a bad person by default. Many athiests get a bad wrap because of immoral deeds committed by just a few. That makes it easy to point fingers and claim that their godlessness is responsible for their actions. This is foolish thinking, for there is just as much sin and misdeed commited by religious people and regular worshipers. I mean heck, look at your political figureheads (mostly Republicans) who quote and slap the Bible into everything they do, yet still routinely get exposed to corruption, fraud, theft, and other immoral acts.
Bottom line: It is completely possible to be an athiest and a morally sound upstanding person.

Your interpretation of good and the truth known by a righteous God may not be the same. If a man has any sin which all do he is therfore not good but a sinner. One good deed does not make a man righteous. The Bible aso teachs that there is a way that seems right to a man and this way ends in death.

The bible itself disproves the bible.
A good source to find the historical truths around how, when and by whom the bible was written (which is available to church clergy but not to the average schmo) is this:
"The Sins of Scripture" by J.Shelby Spong - retired arch bishop of Newark.
Trying to use the bible as a 'manual for living' is about as ridiculous as using AA's Big Book.
Let me give an example:
The human body heals itself, given the proper circumstances. This, not any medical interference, is at the core of healing.
Likewise, the human spirit regenerates itself, given the proper circumstances (absence of judgement as a chief one).
Whereas medicines can be of help, they are not at the core of healing.
Whereas inspirational reading can be of help, it is not at the core of spiritual integrity.
Likewise, aspirin is not for everybody, and not all of what is in the bible is 'good for you'.
Discernment is the first step to spiritual living, and discernment comes from education.
Stop using this book as a substitute for "God's Word".

rofl. Doing good has NOTHING to do with the bible hon. The difference is that an Atheist does "good" out of the goodness of their hearts and expects no reward in return, the Christian does "good" because their god told them to and they're hoping to get rewarded by their god for it.
I know which one is morally better. How about you?

That is one among many ways the Bible is disproved as a book which is supposed to be inerrant.
However, that is not to say there is not good stuff in it.

you have to open your mind a little bit and stop looking atheists like "evil people". I bet there are hundreds of thousands of christians that belive in god, yet have a life full of "sin" (like you call it).
So it is more likely for a good atheist person to go to heaven than a evil christian believer to be in heaven.
(why do christians still believe that as long as you believe in god you can be has evil and hipocrit and mean with people and you will still go to heaven just because you go to church every sunday and believe in god)
