Layla or whatever she has changed her name to, says women are suppoed to be doormats for men. ie, "be obedient", like a puppy.

Why? What man has earned such an honor?

I'm not sure I can see the justification of any person demanding the worship of another person, be they male or female.

It has been observed in certain religions that women are supposed to be subserviant to men, but Those religions are steeped in social behavior desired or deemed appropriate well over 100 years ago when men exalted themselves as little gods.

Should anyone suggest to you that a female needs to be as a servant to any other person, tell them that only The Creator made people, no man deserves worship nor any woman. we are all the Creators children equally.

I hope this helped.

lol. Just because the bible says it, doesn't make it right. The bible also says its ok to sell your daughters into slavery, that you can't eat shellfish and you can't wear clothing made of more than one type of thread.

I am not a slave and this is not the dark ages.

The bible was written by men in a world where the divine feminine ruled. They turned women into something evil and explained that a woman should be less than a man, because of that. Their own prejudice. They wanted their women to be slaves, "obedient" so they could push them around. Its the same reason they basically destroyed anything female in the bible.

Think about it. Its a woman that eats the apple. Mary Magdelene is a whore. And his mother does nothing more important than give birth to him, then she gets pretty much completely ignored until his death where the bible talks about her weeping over him, washing his feet, etc.

Its very obvious. The men who wrote the bible don't like women.

Its unclear whether this assumption is made from a cultural perspective or a religious one. But, in any case, I think that it is irrelavent when we look at history and it's long love/hate affair with women. ....history has not been kind. Lets face it, society and religion has been shaped to exclude women. Christ tells us that He suffered and died that we might have life.........and have it abundantly. His sacrifice of self, as a "doormat" so to speak was beneficial to the whole world. The imposition of a "doormat" mentality often imposed on women produces a different effect; depression, low self-esteem, worthlessness, etc. The result is not an abundant life but a hopeless one.

Generally a chaste woman becomes a very obedient wife.
The woman is beautiful when she remains obedient to the husband. Is better to be slave of one man than a hundred. for a chaste woman, service to the husband without duplicity is the best religious principle. The husband of course, must be a first class gentleman, no a fallen debauchee rascal. A man should be trained to be a first-class devotee of Lord Krishna, and a woman should be trained to be a very chaste follower of her husband. That will make the lives of both of them happy.

.
No no! Not at all.
God did set up a kind of "government" system for the home, because that creates order. God has an order for everything because the Universe operates that way.

The husband is to oversee the home and provide for his family. He should give his life for them as Christ gave his life for the Church. He should love them as he loves his own body.
The woman is to follow the lead of the husband and to provide also for the family needs. She should respect her husbands position in the family.
The children are to obey their parents.

That sounds like good ground for a divorce.

A woman should respect and follow the leadership of the man IF he treats her with honor and respect.

She is not his personal slave and go-for (gopher).

Mutual respect and love with the husband as head of THE FAMILY. ( not live together hippies)

What you're talking about is called Paternalism and it is at the heart of all three Abrahamic religions. Are you so young you don't recall the old days, when wives actually obeyed their husbands? Those days are long gone, thanks to Feminism. Today's women are fully functioning human beings with minds of their own. This represents real progress over organized religion, which has long sought to subjugate the females of our species.

GOD said not to worship no one but HIM. He intended us to marry men not worship them but to love them, and respect them. He also says Husbands treat your wives as if you would treat the church. With love and respect and honor. No other person place or thing should come before GOD. that is idol worshiping. And any man who wants to be worshiped is not a man of GOD.

She's wrong. Although, if enough women like Layla or "whatever she changed her name to" think that they should worship us, we might get the idea in our heads that she's right...

What about worshiping each-other? With love ,respect and cooperation? Instead of some fake deity.
