it sounds like an abcess that has burst,clean with warm salt water ,now its draining it should go

thats just an infected cat bite that has swelled up and burst. the smell is the puss coming out. best take to the vet to get checked out, but it should be ok,

Well, it's hard to believe but cats do get zits....I have a male and he has been treated twice for feline acne. He had to have oral meds and ointment. Now we know to check him and the vet just write a Rx without seeing him now. My cat is an inside cat and never goes out. Mary

You really should have covered this question under pets also .
Did You ? It is very obvious your cat has a infection . Can you afford to take him to vet? If not take him to the PDSA.
He needs antibiotics and it cant be pleasant living with the smell .

He has been in a fight, and been left with a puncture wound. You don't always notice, until it becomes infected. He needs to go to the vet for him to drain the poison out and give him antibiotics

Probably an infected abcess. Take him to the vet immediately.
