I found this old film, and I'm not bothered to go and get it developed, but I still want to know what's on it. Is there anything I can do to bring up the images onto the film so I can hold it up into some light and look at them like you do with negatives? I want to do this at home, not bothered to buy anything for this task, like special development fluid or anything. If anyone knows a way to do this, let me know, otherwise, it's going in the bin.

Thanks.

No. The images are not visible until developed. That's how it works. Once light hits the film it will be ruined and the pictures will be lost. Why not just send it to be developed. It doesn't cost that much, and you might have some treasures there.

I'm afraid you will have to take it to a film processing lab to get it developed. There isn't any other way to view what is on the film.

Sorry, although there maybe latent images on the film, in the emulsion. There is no way on this earth that you can view them without development.

You have to get the film developed.
Simple as that.
Why not do it?
There could be some great images on there.
If you threw it away, you would never know.
It ain't going to cost much.
Go on.......Do it!

PS Can you let us know if you did develope the pictures?
