There are BMI calculators all over the net. Select one and enter your height and weight in it and then read the chart to find out what weight range is generally appropriate. I have provided a link to one below.

In general, women under 25 should be on the lower end of the weight range while women at 45 and over should be in the middle or high end. Of course, bone structure also dictates where you probably should be. My Mom is the same height as me and would clearly be overweight at the high end of the weight range for that height because she is built very slender, versus me, who is built like a football player (without the big shoulders). BMI charts do not take into consideration women with larger breasts which adds to your weight. Having a DD cup size adds 10 pounds to your weight over a women with a B cup, so although you may be just outside of the range, subtract 10 pound and see if you fall within.

A lot of people say that you should be the same weight young as old have never done any research in longevity. In fact, research has actually shown that being on the high side of the weight range is an advantage when you become elderly. Lots of theories, but they don't really know why. Certainly, in my experience of the 90 and 100 year old folks I know and have known that were vigorous, they are or were all on the high end of the weight range for their height.

Age is not important, one is not allowed to get heavier just because one ages. You should be pretty much the same healthy weight your entire life, which means for must of us that we have to exercise and eat less as we get older.
Height and weight is what you would really need to give b/c if you are short you have to weigh less than you would if you were tall. Go to the website below and put in your height and weight and it will tell you what your BMI range is.

It has nothing to do with your height or age. It has to do with your choice of how fit you want to be: muscle weighs more than fat.

The best question would be: "Will my body do what I want it to do when I want it to do it, in the way I want it to do it?" If the answer is: "No" then start working on it. do just a little more each day (start out slow), you may not be where you want to be now, but you'll get there. And once you're there, you can be confident because you look and feel good. In the mean-time, if you don't feel confident-fake it, your working on it.

That depends on the woman's height, bone structure, and health. If you are 5'5" tall, have medium bones, I would say that 125 is a perfect weight. Take your height.............how many inches over 5 feet tall are you? Thinking that you have medium bone size............allow 5 pounds for each inch over feet tall, and 100 pounds for being the first 5 feet tall. (5 feet tall, 100 pounds, 5'1"-105 pounds.........like that.).

It really depends on how tall you are. If you're not happy with your weight, you should maybe excersize a little such as basic things too like situps and jumping jacks because those work.
