This name has origin from the names of Allah so there are two names closer to as you have spell.
Rafee'a (meaning is as above answer)
Raafaya, this from Allah's name Ar-Raafay, So Raafaya means someone( a lady) who raises up the levels. the spellings Raafaya I wrote to express the sound, but you can write as "Rafia".
I'm sure you mean the second name that I wrote, not the first one.

You may find a greek derivation about this name; an ancient greek one! Raphia or Rafia means the act of plotting s/g.
From greek verb Rapto=to sew. Rafia=sewing.
Of course, in greek there is not such a name, but it means just that.!

I am not certain, but I think it is Ralph, because in Spanish it is Rafael. Which could mean that Rafia is a nickname.

It's arabic. and I think it's spelled 'Rabia'
It is the feminine form of Rabi, which means "springtime"
