have your thyroid checked and your blood. I was like that too and found out that it was my thyroid. Also I have found that by sucking down diet pepsi all day actually makes me tired. Try this....drink and eat nothing that is full of caffeine and sugar for 3 days....eats lots of fruits and veggies and see if you dont feel 100% better. You need to clean your system...I did this and felt sooo much better.

I've had same problem like 3 months ago. But I know what caused my problem. Maybe it's the same with you. My father had terrible car accident over a year ago and our company went bankrupt. All of this fell on my shoulder and the stress totally beat me. Maybe you are also going through stressful life and once, this could result in that stupid tiredness. But also a lack of physical activity. I didn't workout, I stopped doing exercises since my dad had accident. I was very active before.
Now I changed the way I think and started running each day for 30-40 min and I feel great and full of energy again. I also recommend you to try it... It won't hurt... Just do it no matter how tired you are (or think you are).
Good Luck!

sounds like your body is toxic, by that i mean you need to start taking care of what your putting in.
I have a wheat allergy, if i have some i get so tired, like could just fall asleep right away, so if i over load on wheat i'm making my body more toxic. Foods that haven't been digested properly can cause this......just a whole build up of toxins. You think your doing the right thing by having sugar but in fact your making your symptoms worse.
Go to see a nutritionist and eat more wholesome foods, fruit, veg and water....dehydration can cause tiredness. Cut out all toxins, caffine, sugar, bad fats, alcohol etc then slowly but surely you can re introduce these things in small doses.

Cut out simple sugars and their equivalent - highly processed foods. Stick to whole foods with a good carbohydrate source. Force yourself to exercise at least 30 minutes everyday. It takes 30 to 45 days to form a habit. In that amount of time you will notice a difference but like others before me said, the simple sugars bring you way up and unfortunately when they bring you down, they bring you below normal. Not to mention, your constant spiking of the blood sugar levels can lead to serious conditions such as disfunction of the pituitary gland's ability to effectively produce insulin - otherwise known as diabetes. Good luck!

Your obviously suffering, so instead of coming on here looking for answers why don't you go see a doctor. I have a good idea of what it is and I don't think it's anemic although I could be wrong. If your suffering from what I think it is, you'll need med intervention especially since you said your putting your career on hold tells me this could be serious. Go see a doctor or chances are you won't get better.

sugar is a short rush of energy.
Try eating more carbohydrates instead for a longer burn.
You will feel nasty without the sugar for a day or two. It's pretty addictive, but you'll feel better in the long term.

It could be something as simple as either an iron deficiency or even that you have come to rely on the sugar and your body can't function without it. if you get the chance ask your doctor.

Have your doctor check your blood sugar levels, but besides enough rest maybe you should change your dailey routine and include a small workout or exercise. Maybe even change your eating habits as well.

Go get a check-up. Get completely off sugar. It will give you those highs and lows you describe.
