The A319 is a small, single aisle short range twin jet, and the B767 is a large, wide bodied long range twin jet.

Its really comparing apples with oranges, but from personal experience, the B767 was the nicer one to travel is- it was a bit noisy in the A319- the engines are quite close to the fuselage.

The B767 was also roomier, being a wide body, but it is really up to the airline on the configuration of the seats.

And the A319 is a newer design, and in most cases the newer airframe, but Boeing are still manufatcuring the B767-400, operated by companies such as Delta in the States.

They are completely different airplanes, designed for completely different markets and routes.
Better to fly? It depends on many things, airline, cabin interior, weather, pilot experience, route, etc.

You may ask if the A319 is better than the 737-600, or if the 767 is better than the A330-200, they were created to compete in the same markets, so you may find more common points to compare.

But, comparing a 767 to a A319, it's like comparing a 747-400 and a Fokker-28 !

The Airbus 319 is a newer plane, but a much much smaller plane. The Boeing 767 is very large any depending on the airline has some extra comfort items with it.

Both are fine but the Boeing 767 is bigger and I would say it's better as well.

Peter B is correct. I will say the 767 is used as a Tanker for the Air Force and I think it used for AWACS. So, it may be a more stable aircraft and may handle more payload (Not sure without looking up the specs). They look much alike.
