greive....
If you are thinking it part of dog food recall or your neibogher poisoned him - well its too late for an autopsy which is the first and critical step to doing anything legal...

Nothing you can do. 10 is old for any dog and unless you spend a fortune on an autopsy, you'll probably never know what took place. I'm sure the treats weren't any worse than the food. Take some time, go thru the healing process, and maybe look into another pup after you've had time to think a little.
I lost my lab a while back. Got a pointer pup I'm hunting with.
If you can afford it, buy better food...at least ProPlan if you're sticking with Purina. You'd be surprised how much better some of the other foods are out there.
Good luck to you.

I'm not sure what you are asking here.
Are you suggesting that your dog died BECAUSE your neighbour gave it treats?
Frankly Purina could have killed it. Purina foods are on the bottom rung of dog foods and should be avoided at all costs.
Did you have a necrosy done by the vet.?
Was your dog showing signs of illnesses beforehand.?
There is every possibility that a 10 year old dog could have died of a heart attack, or worse kidney failure, in which case, yes, blame your Purina low quality, high toxic chemical mix.
I'm sorry to hear your bad news. You must be going through a rough time. I seriously doubt your neighbours had anything to do with the death of your dalmation.
In the event you do get another dog, please take the time to educate yourself about good dog food versus poor quality dog foods. Go to : http://thedogfoodproject.com
Best of luck

Sorry for your loss. There's not much to do but grieve. I wouldn't dwell on the food/treats as that won't change anything.

Did you take her to the vets? At 10years it could have been anything. Had she been sick, or lethargic.
