I call from my cell and no ring, yet if I pick up the phone, there is a connection, just no ring. Can call out fine, just no incoming. started out w/ a half-ring now nothing, is it the line or the phones?? have unplugged and replugged each one in series and tested, this fixed it for a day or so. now no ring again. help please

your phones don't get enough juice....if you have that many phones on, get a phone-ringer amplifier!! or just take off 3 ringers on the phone and let the other once ring!!!

You need to add up the ringer equivalency of each phone ( on back or in manual) if over 4 you need a amp or bigger service from company. ringer circuit is only 50 mA.

I believe you have one loose wire, and it must be before the first phone. Check your connection from the phone company's little box outside to your first phone. If you have a splitter, it could be there. Look for bad connectors and frayed wiring, replace. If all else fails, get a service repair man.
