Are you currently keeping track of calories? In my opinion, it's difficult to cut back unless you know exactly what you're taking in to begin with.. It may be interesting to know what kind of shape you are looking for and your ultimate goal to loose weight. You must check out the local site http://www.wellness-100.org for an online solution.
May god bless you.

If you are only 16 and weight that much chances are it runs in your family. Aside from cutting out fast food, sweets, chips and soda getting active with sports can only help.
I don't think you should put a goal of 20kg's on yourself because if you don't reach it by June you will be disappointed and may give up.
Changing your lifestyle with respect to food and activities is the only way you are going to slim down. Feeling good about yourself doesn't always have to be about your weight though. If you eat wisely and are active what the scale says shouldn't matter.
Not that I'm a big fan of talk-show TV but Dr. Phil has a good book out there so you may want to buy it for inspiration (not sure of the name).

The amount of weight you need to lose depends on a lot of factors. Your height; your body frame - small/medium/large boned; amount of energy you need every day for your daily activities are some things to consider.
You need to take stock of what you eat daily. Does it match your energy expenditure or are you eating in excess? Also, is your diet overly fat and protein rich? How much of what you eat has nutritional value versus what's just empty calories (gives you lots of energy but doesn't contribute nutritionally).
Whether your goal is reachable or not, depends on your drive to succeed.
Sounds complicated huh? Some suggestions:
1. Measure your starting weight and measure end of every week once you start on the program
2. Measure your waist line and do the same.
3. Record the above down.
4. Record down every thing you put in your mouth including how much water you take and the time you eat/drink.
5. Get a buddy to motivate you, pushes you and doesn't tempt you and checks on your progress. Don't hide anything from him though!!
6. Learn to count your calories, and find out how many calories you need daily and eat lesser than that. Just don't go down to 1000 kcal a day.
7. Learn what's a balanced meal, pace out the amount for each meal so you won't get hungry and crave for food. E.g. every 4 - 5 hours.
8. Learn what foods fill you up without giving you a lot of calories e.g. unlimited raw vegetables, limited amount of grains/cereals!
9. Eat bigger amounts earlier in the day to kick off your metabolism and to give you energy you need at the start off the day. Conversely, eat less for your last meal of the day cos you don't need much energy when you're resting.
10. Drink 2 liters of water through the day, especially before your meals.
11. Exercise - if you're not already exercising, no need to huff and puff, brisk walk half hour every day to get started. Take public transport versus cabs or cars. Take the overhead bridge, or the longer route. Walk everywhere you can go by walking. As you start to lose weight, incorporate more cardiovascular exercises and strengthening exercises. Try jogging in a pool for example. Run if you can. What you need is sustained exercise for 30 to 45 minutes to see quicker results.
All the best!

20Kg in 2 months sounds like a very difficult goal, especially at 16. Your weight should be proportionate to your height, and you probably still have a growth spurt coming, so you must be especially careful not to do yourself damage. That said, cut back on fats, not completely, but forget potato chips and junk foods that contain lots of fat. Cut back on sugars and starches. Count your calories, about 1500 a day should keep you going and start you losing weight. Exercise, calisthenics, running, bicycling, swimming are all good and don't cost much. Don't worry so much about weight as muscle tone. Good luck.

no you want to aim smaller like 5kg maybe even thats a bit to high but if you aim small and do your best and you beat that you feel better for beating and you are more likely to carry on losing wieght untill you're happy with your wieght. now i do not suggest in any way that you go on a crash diet or become anorexic or bulemic(?) it is dangerous trust me i have been there. What i did when i wanted to loose wieght was go on a cereal diet three bowls of cereal (don't put too much sugar on it especially if its a sweet cereal like frosties or try not to put sugar on at all) a day (with milk) and make sure you have a wide range of cereals that are good for you make sure you read the labels very carefully if you feel you need more food during the day just have 4 bowls instead of three but don't go over the top because you are trying to loose wieght not gain it. cereal - if you have a wide range (like with fruit in like musili) is good for keeps the body well and actually makes you feel more awake and ready for tasks, excercise is good to do as well and i suggest you don't jump in the deep end with excercising start small effects will be noticable even when you start small and work your way up.
hope i have helped.
