who thinks 'HICKIES' on the neck of your partner is just wrong? my partner gave me one and i felt like a 15 year old. i had to go to work the following morning where i was so embarrased i went home. this resulting in me wearing a polo neck for the rest of the week. is it a sign of passion or just a sign of childish behaviour??

Im a teenager and even i think their childish!! Theres no need to leave such an ugly mark, it doesnt prove anything, it just looks cheap and nasty.
My friend comes in with them sometimes and she thinks they make her look cool as its a clear sign to everyone that shes having sex. She's the only 1 that thinks that though... Everyone else puts her down because of it.
Talk about him with it. Find out why he feels the need to give u a hicky. If u dont want to make a big issue out of it with him then, whenever u feel like he's giving u one, bring his face back up to your face and kiss normally.

They don't look nice but I really enjoy having my neck sucked when me and my husband get passionate and I am not going to stop doing something I enjoy just because it looks tacky, I simply move my head round when he does it so that any love bite is nearer the back of my neck and is hidden by my hair, problem solved and I still get to enjoy!!

I feel it is a childish behavior. I mean lets be real we know they love us or you can look at it this way everyone knows you are with someone why put those nasty looking hickies on your neck where every one can see them.. How TRASHY if he or if they find it necessary to put them on you do it some where , where no ONE SEE~S THEM. I hear toothpaste helps them go away faster.

Hickies are bad - he's stamping his mark on you - next time - stamp on his head, he might learn!!!.
passion is when he leaves hickies on you where no one else can find them, and that they are done in the heat of the moment, not 'for something to do'!

That is so "teenage" .... Not something that needs to be done or should be ... kissing on the neck is one thing, but leaving a hickie was almost a was of marking your territory when you were a kid .... not something that should be done anymore.....

Some find the neck very erotic, some don't . If you don't find this activity pleasurable , let your partner know he should respect your wishes. I think that it is a way for people to also say that you belong to someone.

Hickies are so 8th grade. If you don't like him doing it, you should tell him to stop. Then tell him you think it's retarded and move on. He'll get the hint, if he doesn't he's a moron and you're better off without him.

Personally I don't think its wrong, sometimes it just happens a spur of the moment thing but there are some people who do it on purpose just to leave a stamp. You now your man so you might just know the answer.

stop being such a jerk.
he likedyour... you did what loving couples do.
your mates/collegues get to tease you a little but really are happy you get to be in love.
Consider yourself lucky at least you getting somewhere with someone.
Most are very lonley or in relatioships with no passion or affection
Oh and a good reason why people drift apart and get divorced is they stop behaving like teenagers in love and all the energy and feeling goes with it
