I think the whole "Eat dairy, lose weight" thing is just a marketing ploy. I lost weight AFTER I quit eating eggs and diary. I did it more for the health (rather, lack thereof) for the cows than for my health.
As for the regularity thing, eat whole foods with plenty of grains and fiber. As I said, I don't eat yogurt, milk, cheese and eggs, and I have no problem with my digestive system or regularity. At least once a day, every day. (I think the commercials for the fortified yogurt stuff are quite funny. Like most commercials, they're not intended for intelligent, free thinking people who can read between the lines.)

I would add more vegetables. Drink lots of water. Beef jerky is high in sodium, which will make you bloated, so I wouldn't recommend that as a snack. Maybe some fruit instead. Stick with fruits, vegetables, lean meats and whole wheat bread.

NO, unless it's stated that it's fat reduced. Otherwise, it's a sure way to pile on the fats. Yogurt is a fattening food if it's not fat reduced.
