First of all, I have some knowledge of Islam. I read articles from different sources every single day.
Second of all, why should be asking people's personal experiences be of any threat to you or your faith.
Don't like my question? What are you doing here?

Everyone is born Muslim like one poster said. I reverted to Islam from Christianity. Anyway those who leave Islam were never true Muslims. ALLAH knows his true servants and followers among us and will reward those who die believing that there is only one God(ALLAH) and that Muhammad(PBUH*) is the messenger and slave of ALLAH. They will be rewarded with Jinnah and everlasting life. Alhamdullilah that I am Muslim and I will die a Muslim. I would rather face death then leave my religion and go to Jahannam. Ameen. ALLAH U AKBAR! Subhanna Ribiya Alazeem.

There is a message to you from God .
And whoever seeks a religion other than Islâm, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers. (Aali Imran 3:85)
How shall Allâh guide a people who disbelieved after their belief and after they bore witness that the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) is true and after clear proofs had come unto them? And Allâh guides not the people who are Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers). (Aali Imran 3:86)
They are those whose recompense is that on them (rests) the Curse of Allâh, of the angels, and of all mankind. (Aali Imran 3:87)
They will abide therein (Hell). Neither will their torment be lightened, nor will it be delayed or postponed (for a while). (Aali Imran 3:88)
Except for those who repent after that and do righteous deeds. Verily, Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Aali Imran 3:89)
Verily, those who disbelieved after their Belief and then went on increasing in their disbelief (i.e. disbelief in the Qur'ân and in Prophet Muhammad SAW) - never will their repentance be accepted [because they repent only by their tongues and not from their hearts]. And they are those who are astray. (Aali Imran 3:90)
Verily, those who disbelieved, and died while they were disbelievers, the (whole) earth full of gold will not be accepted from anyone of them even if they offered it as a ransom. For them is a painful torment and they will have no helpers. (Aali Imran 3:91)
May God Guide us to the Straight Way

I find it interesting that the assumption is that you are leaving, as opposed to simply asking the question.
Maybe you are, but nowhere in your question does it say so.

Muslims regard this as a capital crime, and the Koran urges believers to kill anyone who leaves the faith. It is more likely to happen in free countries like the USA than in the tyrannical theocracies of the middle east.
