If you're 5'11", weigh 18 stone and have a 53" waist and 48" chest I'm afraid you are fat. Your waist measurement must never exceed your chest measurement. If you're 5'11" a waist measurement over 36" is probably too much. A competitive heavyweight bodybuilder at 5% body fat will around weigh the same as you with a 34" waist. Go to the doctor for a body composition analysis !

At 5.11 and 18 stone you are overweight! My man is 6.2" and under 13 stone and watches his weight so that he doesn't go over 13 stone. 53" waist is not a normal size! Between 32" and 38" waist is a normal size! Have you gradually been reaching 18 stone because this is why you may not feel fat!

You're fat. You should have a 53 inch "chest" and 48 inch waist so you probably typed it in wrong (otherwise you're shaped like a bell). You need to lose 10" off your waist and about 60 lbs. However if you just lost 40lbs you'd look a lot better. For insurance and life expectancy you should lose 80 lbs.

An ideal body builder at your height should have the following:
Chest: 56 inches (yours, only 48")

Arms: 20-21

Thighs/Hams: 30

Calves: 19-20

Waist: 32 (Yours 53... close to 2 feet too fat)

You're not making any sense. And it doesn't matter what you weigh, you are clearly carrying too much body fat around your waistline.

You might not think 18 stone is a lot, but if your body fat levels are too high, then you need to lose some of that excess body fat, before it starts to affect your health.

Take care.

I am 5'11 and have a 37" waist and 44" chest and I am still a little overweight, but not fat., so that should give you an idea that maybe you should feel the way you do..Turn a lot of the fat to muscle and you will burn more calories.

being in normal weight doesnt mean you are fit or healthy. fat is lighter than muscle. its all about body fat percentage.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

Are you just sick of the typical diet plans were after the diet regime finish the additional lbs are just coming and coming right after finish the diet regime? Are you encounter the truth that after your physique will get used to a diet then this diet plan gets significantly less effective more than time because your body adjusts to compensate?
