You can get bulgur wheat from most health food stores or a local food co op. You are much better off with whole wheat though, as it retains all the nutrients lost in the processing. Bulgur has been polished, cleaned and parboiled, which causes it to lose alot of nutrients. You can grind whole wheat into smaller particles like bulgur in a food mill.

I am not sure where you live but I see bulgur in all stores even bulk store. You must go to the middle eastern aisle or middle Eastern stores if you have any in your city. Otherwise try whole foods or health food stores.
