As Moses is to Judaism,
As Buddah is to Buddhism,
As Mohamed is to Islam,
As Peter is to Catholicism,
As Jehovah is to Jehovah's Witnesses,
As Joseph Smith is to Mormonism,
So is Jesus to old fashioned Bible Believers. By this I mean very old.
Who for the past 2,000 years at times lived and worked in the open. At other times we worked underground.
Our outlawed Bibles were sought and burned for nearly 1600 years in Europe.

Yeow Teng K - The oldest man made religion of all is the Mystery Religion of Babylon.
It was a reaction against the God who describes Himself in the Bible.
So do not get too cocky with hinduism.
Buddhism is a reaction to the Jewish teachings which were spread around the world during the Babylonian Captivity of the Jews. Buddhists stole all of their 'philisophical' ideas from the Jewish Bible.

YTK - Use the Yahoo search portal above and type in "Babylon Mystery Religion". Read a little and you might cool your jets! It is the first religion by man after the flood.
The Jews were taken in to Babylon as captives of war. The book of Esther tells us that there were 127 (I think this is the number) of Jewish settlements in the Babylonian empire. Many of them were located in India. This is a very widely know fact of history.
A chinamen of the 4th century is credited for bringing Buddhism to the forfront of Chinese society after spending several years in India.
There is a definate connection with between the 'deep mysteries', 'wise sayings', 'inner peace' and the writings of the Poetical books in the Old Testament.
It is obvious from your input that you are hopelessly biased against the Bible and Jesus Christ. But He predates everything as the Creator. Read of His Deity in Hebrew 1. Read how angels bow before Him and worship. Read how He is eternal.

Let see ..... it is Buddha ..... it is 2,500 years old.... 5 century older then Christianity.
Who for the past 2,000 years .... lets see .....
Hinduism has been there for 4,000 years and still worked in the open .... always, never underground.
Taoism has been there for 4,000 years and still worked in the open .... always, never underground.
Buddhism has been there for 2,500 years and still worked in the open .... always, never underground.
Bla bla bla ....
Jesus is freaking young if I should say so myself..... read up on other religion before commenting ... will you?
By the way, Catholics, Mormonism and Jehovah Witness are denomination of Christianity .... like it or not ... it stems from this guy call Jesus christ.
----
The oldest man made religion of all is the Mystery Religion of Babylon.
(Damm Mystery.... no one knows about it .... but I can tell you the oldest man made religion is the wikawika religion of the wulaula ... .proof me wrong. You never heard of it does not count)
It was a reaction against the God who describes Himself in the Bible.
So do not get too cocky with Hinduism.
(Halo, you are the one that is cocky with Christianity saying it is old)
Buddhism is a reaction to the Jewish teachings which were spread around the world during the Babylonian Captivity of the Jews. Buddhists stole all of their 'philosophical' ideas from the Jewish Bible.
(Halo, knock knock .... reality check ..... where do you get that information? from your god's talking into your brains or you think so?
Anyway, if you look at both teaching between the Jewish bible and Buddhist text, there is very little similarity, the focus, the teaching are totally different. However, you should see certain similarity between the new testament and SOME of the Buddhist text, and most probably you will tell me the Buddha stole the teaching from jesus christ before he was born.
Now come to time. If I told you in Buddhist text, the previous Buddha of this "world" before Gautama is before the forming of this universe eons ago at this exact spot when the previous universe was around, way before the creation of Babylon and the creation of earth by your god which is 6000 years ago, will you believe?)
------------
And your views and beliefs is extremely bias towards indicating "What the bible says is the truth, look, it is written in the bible"
A check with the website on this Babylon mystery religion will indicate it is not listed anywhere on earth except in the bible and Judaism based religion. In which is bias. The bible itself has too much contradiction to be proven as a credible source and the only source is in the bible and it's predecessors no other credible finding. The information are strongly attuned towards bending everything towards this mystery religion without having a clear idea where or who form this religion, it is just stated as because some books written by some fictional writer says so, there is even a chance the writer of this fiction is not even there to bare witness, but by hearsay.
It is mentioned by some writers stating all religions stems from this mystery religion because all the structures of these religion looks similar and it goes on to compare A church, A mosque and a Jewish Temple. Notice the similarity, they all stem from Judaism. I can assure you, putting a Chinese / Indian temple and a church together, you will see very little similarity except perhaps they are made from similar materials.
It goes on to say rosaries used by the catholics were similar to beads used now by other religions. That does not prove anything. Beads are used by the Chinese for calculations since 5000 years ago, and it was stolen from Judaism too?
By the way, read your history correctly, Buddhism moved to China in 62 CE and perhaps even earier, but the recorded history was then. When Faxian Journey to India at 400 CE, Buddhism is already flourishing in China. The reason why he went there is to collect even more books and to try to understand the religion from India and to spread the religion.
(Most probably you would not know this as it is not recorded in the bible..... If you are bent on spreading your religion using this method, perhaps you should start to read more on other religions, their originality rather then trying to shove the bible thing down to others without substantial prove)

I love what Jesus taught. The love, peace, understanding. I was stopped from reading very much of the new testament, and none of the old. But the peace, love , understanding I believe. I'm not christian, but love what Jesus taught. I only worship God though.

Jehovah does not "replace" Jesus in any sense; they are Father and Son and thus work in perfect harmony with no rivalry.
(Philippians 2:5-7) Keep this mental attitude in YOU that was also in Christ Jesus, who, although he was existing in God’s form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God. No, but he emptied himself and took a slave’s form
Sadly, it seems only to be trinitarians who pretend that Jehovah's Witnesses are not Christian. Trinitarians use an artificial, trinity-specific definition of the term "Christian" which excludes anyone who does not believe that Jesus is God Himself, rather than the Son of God. Interestingly, pagans in the first century pretended that Christ's followers were Atheists(!) because the Christians had a somewhat different idea from the pagans about the nature of God.
Jehovah's Witnesses teach that no salvation occurs without Christ, that accepting Christ's sacrifice is a requirement for true worship, that every prayer must acknowledge Christ, that Christ is the King of God's Kingdom, that Christ is the head of the Christian congregation, that Christ is immortal and above every creature, even that Christ was the 'master worker' in creating the universe! Both secular dictionaries and disinterested theologians acknowledge that Jehovah's Witnesses are a Christian religion.
The Trinitarian arguments are intended to insult and demean Jehovah's Witnesses, rather than to give a Scripturally accurate understanding of the term "Christian".
In fact, the bible most closely associates being "Christian" with preaching about Christ and Christ's teachings. Review all three times the bible uses the term "Christian" and note that the context connects the term with:
"declaring the good news"
'teaching quite a crowd'
'open eyes, turn from dark to light'
"uttering sayings of truth"
"persuade"
"keep on glorifying"
(Acts 11:20-26) [The early disciples of Jesus] began talking to the Greek-speaking people, declaring the good news of the Lord Jesus... and taught quite a crowd, and it was first in Antioch that the disciples were by divine providence called Christians.
(Acts 26:17-28) [Jesus said to Paul] I am sending you, to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light and from the authority of Satan to God... Paul said: “I am not going mad, Your Excellency Festus, but I am uttering sayings of truth and of soundness of mind. ...Do you, King Agrippa, believe the Prophets? I know you believe.” But Agrippa said to Paul: “In a short time you would persuade me to become a Christian.”
(1 Peter 4:14-16) If you are being reproached for the name of Christ, you are happy... But if he suffers as a Christian, let him not feel shame, but let him keep on glorifying God in this name
So why do anti-Witnesses try to hijack the term "Christian" and hide its Scriptural implications? Because anti-Witnesses recognize that it is the preaching work that makes it clear that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are by far the most prominent followers of Christ:
(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded
