HIV is contracted from people with HIV. Typically people with higher risk behaviors have a higher risk of the virus. Again, Isaac Asimov died from AIDS. He was rich, had god nutrition and lived in a clean enviroment. So did Arthur Ashe.

Neither of them had drugs in their systems in their autopsies.
