find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
dont try to lose more than 1-2lbs a week - its not healthy to lose more.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

50 lbs over 12 weeks is extremely dangerous.
Use the summer as opportunity to modify your daily routine to include exercise and changed eating habits- changes that will not only help you lose weight, but keep it off.
You could aim to lose 25lbs- a more realistic, possible, and safe goal, and it will surprise you what a tremendous difference it will make in how you look.
You could get the 50 off by the end of the year- but you should start now- not wait until a certain "start" date.

ride your bike around your neighborhood. Run, take tennis lessons etc. no sugar! Make sure you dont get stressed out. Make a schedule, like on monday ride your bike from 10:00 am to 4:00. Jump on a tramp from 4:00 - 5:00. Good Luck, youll look great.

it depends on how much you weigh now. If you are over 150lbs it will be okay to lose 50 lbs, but if you are not, you'll look anerexic.

i suggest you DIET DIET DIETTTT!!!! no SUGAR!!!
run around all summer, instead of a bag of chips, how about a bag of carrots, just find some healthy foods you really like!!
crunches help, also hovers... if u do no what they are look them up their too hard to explain!
